Sandalwood actor Dhananjay has said that the success of his latest film ‘Badava Rascal’ is not entirely his own, but is the team’s success.
Dhananjay’s debut production ‘Badava Rascal’ which was released on the 24th of December has successfully completed 50 days in theaters. To mark the occasion, the actor has organized a success event at the Chowdaiah Memorial Hall in Bangalore and handed over mementoes to all the artistes and technicians who have worked for the film.
‘Earlier, I was just a co-producer of the film. When I took over the film, many of my friends helped me. I still haven’t repaid them yet. I will do it soon. This is not only my success, but the whole team’s success’ said Dhananjay.
‘Badava Rascal’ helmed by debutante director Shankar Guru got a huge opening and response from all over. The film is said to have earned a profit of 15 crores.
Actor-singer Vasishta Simha who is a good friend of Dhananjay was the chief guest on the occasion. ‘I will always be with my friend. His work is an inspiration to all. After ‘Tagaru’, I am acting with Dhananjay in his other home production ‘Head Bush’’ said Vasishta.
Apart from Dhananjay and Vasishta Simha, Amrutha Iyengar, Shankar Guru, Rangayana Raghu, cinematographer Preetha Jayaraman, Nagabhushan and others were present at the occasion.
