Well known anchor Anushree who is known for her flawless anchoring is back to acting after a three year gap. The actress will be seen in a new horror film.

Anushree made her acting debut in ‘Benkipatna’ and went on to act in films like ‘Ring Master’ and ‘Uppu Huli Khara’. It’s been four years since Anushree was busy in anchoring and is now back to acting.

The new untitled film is being directed by Prabhakar and produced by Lohith, who had directed films like ‘Mummy’ and ‘Devaki’. Prabhakar had assisted Lohith in the previous two films and the latter is giving a big break to his protégé to direct the film. Lohith is jointly producing the film along with Parthiban and others.

Though it is a horror film, the film does not have any haunted houses or revenge stories, but is said to be revolving around a cult of worshipping demons. The entire film is said to be shot in Goa and the team will be leaving to Goa this month and will be finishing in a month schedule.

The film was launched on Monday and the team is yet to title the film. More details about the star cast and the crew is yet to be divulged.
