Anup Bhandari’s ‘Rangitaranga’ which created a sensation in Sandalwood when released in 2015 has completed recently. Now the there is a news that the film is all said to be remade in Hindi.

There have been rumours about the possibility of the Hindi remake of ‘Rangitaranga’. However, it was not confirmed. Now a big producer from Bollywood has showed interest in remaking the film to Hindi.

According to a latest development, the producer is keen on remaking the film in Hindi in a grand style and has plans to approach either Akshay Kumar or Shahid Kapoor to star in it. It is being said that the producer is keen on Anup Bhandari to direct the film in Hindi also.

‘Rangitaranga’ is a mystery thriller and marked the debut of Anup and Nirup Bhandari to Sandalwood. While, Anup made his debut as a director, his brother Nirup acted in the film. Radhika Narayan, Avanthika Shetty, Saikumar and others played prominent roles in the film. The film was hit made way for more mystery thrillers in Sandalwood.

Meanwhile, Anup has thanked the audience for making the mystery thriller a great hit. ‘Everything that I am today is because of this love you started showering on us exactly seven years ago’ said the director, who is looking forward for his forthcoming film ‘Vikrant Rona’ on the 28^th of July.
