Actress Ankita Amar is one of the popular names of Kannada small screen. The actress who rose to fame with ‘Nammane Yuvarani’ also hosted the hugely popular reality show ‘Ede Tumbi Haaduvenu’ which was aired in Colors Kannada recently. Now Ankita is all set to make her feature film debut with ‘Aba Jaba Daba’ being directed by Mayura Raghavendra.

Mayura Raghavendra had announced his second directorial venture ‘Aba Jaba Daba’ in December. Though the film was announced, Mayura had not revealed any details about the cast and crew of the film. On the occasion of Makara Sankranthi the team has announced that Ankita will be making her debut in this film. Ankita will be sharing screen space with Pruthvi Ambar of ‘Dia’ fame.

Two different posters of Pruthvi and Ankita have been released in social media. While, Pruthvi is seen blindfolded with his hands tied at the back, the other showcases Ankita holding a mike with a picture of legendary S P Balasubramaniam in the background.

‘Aba Jaba Daba’ is produced by S Ananthakrishna under S Ram Productions banner. The film stars Pruthvi, Ankita, Urvashi, Achyuth Kumar, Mukyamantri Chandru, Sudharani and others in prominent roles.

Mayura Raghavendra himself has scripted the film apart from directing it. This is his second film as a director after ‘Kannad Gottilla’ starring Haripriya.
