Veteran actor Ananth Nag who was staying away from films for the past one and a half years due to Corona and the lockdown, is back to acting once again. The veteran will be seen playing a prominent role in ‘Drishya 2’ which is the remake of Malayalam hit ‘Drishyam 2’.

Ananth Nag is said to have been reprising the role of a screenwriter in this film, which actor Saikumar had done in the original. Ananth Nag’s role is a prominent one in the film and the actor will be bringing a major twist to the film. The actor has already been shooting for the film in the last couple of days and will be completing his portions soon.

The actor shares his excitement for making a comeback with ‘Drishya 2’. ‘I have not stepped out of the house for the last one and a half years due to Corona and Lockdown. Just when everybody has gained their weight staying in home for the last so many months, I have reduced four kgs. Recently, the team approached me for playing a role in this film and I gave a nod in just four days after hearing the story and my role in it. I really feel excited to be a part of this film’ says Ananth Nag.

‘Drishya 2’ stars V Ravichandran in the role of Rajendra Ponnappa along with Navya Nair, Sivaji Prabhu, Aarohi Naryan, Pramod Shetty and others in prominent roles. P Vasu is the director and E2 Entertainments is producing the film.
