Amazon Prime is all set to pay a tribute to late actor Puneeth Rajkumar by making five available five of his movies for free, for non-members for one month starting February 01st.
Amazon had a very good friendship with Puneeth Rajkumar and holds all the digital rights of the movies produced by the ‘Power Star’ through his PRK Productions. Puneeth had produced ‘Kavalu Daari, ‘Mayabazaar’, ‘Law’ and ‘French Biryani through his production house. While, the first two were released in Amazon Prime after a theatrical release, the latter two got released directly during the pandemic.
Apart from the movies produced by the actor, it also has the blockbuster ‘Yuvaratna’, which had Puneeth in the titular role.
Now the streaming giant has decided to make all the five popular movies, free for all customers starting February 01st. This offer is for non-Prime members and anyone who has an Amazon account can watch the films for free.
Amazon Prime says, this is a modest attempt to allow wider audiences and fans to pay their love and respect to the legend.
