Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt who married Ranbir Kapoor in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai on April 14th has announced pregnancy. The actress says she and Ranbir are expecting a baby.
Alia Bhatt on Monday announced her pregnancy in social media through a cryptic post captioned, ‘Our baby … coming soon’. She has also shared a photo of hers on a hospital bed along with hubby Ranbir. Both are busy looking at an ultrasound monitor displaying a heart emoji. The post is flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities.
Alia’s mother Soni Razdan wrote ‘Congratulations mama and papa lion’, while Ranbir’s sister Riddhima left a string of hearts. Alia’s mentor Karan Johar wrote ‘Heart is bursting’, while Priya Chopra congratulated Alia by saying ‘Congratulations honey! Yaay, Can’t wait’.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were dating each other for some time and there were speculations that they might get married. However, due to the sad demise of Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor and the pandemic, the marriage got postponed. Finally on April 14, Ranbir and Alia entered into wedlock in Mumbai and ended all the speculations.
