For some time, there were news that Malayalam super hit ‘Driving License’ is all set to be remade in Hindi. Now Akshay Kumar has finally announced through social media, that he will be acting in the Hindi remake and the film has been titled ‘Selfiee’ and the film also stars Emraan Hashmi in a prominent role.

Akshay Kumar shared a photo of the new film saying that, ‘Found myself the perfect ‘Selfiee’ partner! Hey Karan Johar, have we slayed this selfie game or what?’ wrote Akshay Kumar.

Karan Johar who is producing the film also shared the teaser of the film and announced that the shooting for the film starts soon.

Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi will be reprising the roles of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. While, Akshay Kumar is seen in the role of a superstar, Emraan will be playing the role of a Traffic inspector who confronts the superstar.

‘Selfiee’ is being directed by Raj Mehta.
