After a couple of days announcing her separation from Naga Chaitanya, actress Samantha has changed her name in all social media handles. The actress who had just the initial of her name ‘S’ in the last few months, have changed it back to ‘Samantha’.

It all started with Samantha Akkineni changing her name as S in social media. Just after the change, there were speculations about why Samantha had changed the name all of a sudden. That’s when the theory started doing rounds that all is not well between her and Naga Chaitanya, whom she had married four years back.

After much speculations and being in the limelight for a few months for their alleged split, the star couple decided to part ways and has made an official statement about their separation on Saturday (Oct 2) afternoon through social media.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya issued a joint statement saying that, ‘To all our well-wishers, after much deliberation and thought, Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on’ read the statement. After the separation, now the actress has changed her name in social to Samantha once again.
