Prajwal Devaraj starrer ‘Abbara’ is complete and the teaser of the film has been released recently. Meanwhile, the film is all set to release on the 12^th of August across Karnataka.

‘Abbara’ was launched before Covid and the film was delayed due to various reasons. Now that Prajwal’s another film ‘Veeram’ has been pushed to September, the makers of ‘Abbara’ have planned to release on the 12^th of August. Yogaraj Bhatt’s directorial and Ravichandran’s ‘Gaalipata 2’ will also be releasing on the same date.

Director Ramnarayan says he is not afraid of the competition and will be releasing the film on the same day. ‘Our film was ready almost two months back. However, there were 8-10 films releasing per week in the last few months. We can’t wait for some more time as we have waited long enough. The people must not think ours is a small big. Ours is also a good film, with good content. So, we have decided to move on and release the film on the 12^th of August’ says Ramnarayan.

‘Abbara’ has Prajwal donning three shades in the film. He has three female leads including Lekha Chandra, Nimika Ratnakar and Rajshri Ponnappa. Ravishankar also plays a prominent role in the film.

Ramnarayan apart from directing the film has also scripted the film. Basavaraj Machaiah is the producer. Ravi Basrur has composed the music for the film.
