The team of ‘James’ is working day and night to release the film on Puneeth Rajkumar’s birthday on the 17^th of March. Meanwhile, a special poster from the film is all set to release on the Republic Day.

‘James’ was launched earlier in 2021. However, due to the pandemic the film was delayed and after the second lockdown, the team had planned to complete the shooting of the entire film and had almost completed except for a patch work and a song. But the team got a big jolt with the demise of Puneeth in October last year.

The team members after a meeting, decided to let go off the song and have completed the patch work recently with Avinash and other actors participating in the shoot. With the shooting done, the team is busy with the post-production of the film and plans to complete by the first week of March. Meanwhile, a special poster of Puneeth will be released on the 26^th of January.

Puneeth’s dubbing for the film is also pending and the team plans to take a decision soon. Earlier, fans of the late actor have urged the team to get the dubbed done by Puneeth’s brother Shivarajkumar, for which Shivarajkumar has given a nod. But the team is yet to come to a decision in this regard.

‘James’ is written and directed by Chethan and produced by Kishore Pattikonda who had earlier produced ‘Kabira’. The film stars Puneeth Rajkumar along with Priya Anand, Sharath Kumar, Avinash and others in prominent roles. Charan Raj is the music director.
