It’s been raining releases in Sandalwood off late. Last week eight films got released and eight more films including Sathish Neenasam’s ‘Petromax’ is all set to hit the screens on the 15^th of July.

The eight films which were released on the 08^th of July turned out to be disasters at the box-office. There were no big releases last week and moreover rain played a spoil sport. All the eight films bombed badly at the box-office. Many of the shows were cancelled due to lack of audience.

This week eight more films are all set to test their luck at box-office. Of the eight films, Sathish Neenasam’s ‘Petromax’ is the only film which has created a buzz and has raised expectations among the audience. The film is laced with lot of double meaning dialogues and the film is likely to attract youngsters.

Apart from ‘Petromax’, the other films getting released this week is Anish Tejeshwar’s ‘Benki’, Radhika Narayan’s ‘Chase’, Akshith Shashikumar’s ‘O My Love’, ‘Padmavathi’ and ‘Karmanyevadikarasthe’. Along with six straight releases, two dubbed films including Sai Pallavi’s ‘Gargi’ and RGV’s ‘Hudugi’ are all set to hit the screens.

Which among the eight films manage to woo the audience is yet to be seen in the next few days.
