Rakshit Shetty starrer ‘777 Charlie’ is all set to hit the screens on the 10th of June across India. Meanwhile, the actor-producer has cleared the air about the sequel of the film.
The team o f ‘777 Charlie’ has arranged for premiere shows of the film across the country and people who have seen the film is looking forward for the sequel. When asked about the sequel, the actor has said that ‘777 Charlie 2’ may not happen right now.
‘’777 Charlie’ is a once in a lifetime project. Right now I have other commitments, which I am busy with. Moreover, the memories of the film must slow down. When we started the film, we had no idea about the challenges. So, we went according with it. Now I know what all the challenges we have to face. To be frank, it is not easy for an actor to take 50 takes. Even though you have done a good job, then Charlie’s take may not be good. If the charlie’s take is good and even if you are not done a good job, you have to accept it because it will be a difficult task to get another good take from it. So, there is lot of challenges for an actor’ says Rakshit.

Rakshit remembers the shooting of the film. ‘When I was shooting for the first half of the film, I was simultaneously doing ‘Avane Srimannarayana’. I played a a whacky and extrovert character in that film. I played an opposite character here in the film. I had limited dialogues and settled expression. So, it was totally different experience handling both the films. When I started shooting for the second half of ‘777 Charlie’, ‘ASN’ was completed. Though we shot for more than 70 days for the second half of ‘777 Charlie’ it was easy. I really found the first half of the film a long process compared to the second half. The first half of the film was a long process’ says Rakshit.
Talking about the sequel, the actor says he is not ready for it. ’I am not ready for Part 2 right now. I want to explore and experiment other characters also. After 5-6 years I may take up the sequel, if there is a suitable script’ says Rakshit.
As for as the business of the film is concerned Rakshit says he is very happy with it. ‘Based on my previous experiences, I wanted to prove that we can make good business with a good film. So, I kept everyone away and took over the entire responsibility. I have been successful in the business and I am happy with that’ says the actor-producer.
