Rakshit Shetty starrer ‘777 Charlie’ which was released on Friday (10th June) across the globe is getting good appreciation all over. Meanwhile, the film is said to have garnered eight plus crores in Karnataka alone on the first day of its release.
‘777 Charlie’ was released in 350 theaters in Karnataka on Friday. The Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam version of the film will be released in 100 theaters in respective states. The Hindi version of the film will be released in more than 350 theaters in North India.
The film was released in 350 theaters in Karnataka alone and all the shows on the first day were full. Trade experts say that the first day collection of the film would be eight plus crores in Karnataka. The overall collection from the rest of the world would be somewhere around 15-20 crores.
The film is getting good mouth to mouth publicity from the audience and this word of mouth publicity is said to be enough for the film to reach the 100 crore club mark If the collection continues then the film would reach the 100 crore club in a span of 5 days to one week.
Apart from that the film has done good business in terms of satellite and digital rights. The satellite and digital rights of the Kannada version have been acquired by Colors Kannada and Voot for a whopping 21 crores and Rakshit who is also the producer of the film was safe even before the release. ‘777 Charlie’ is directed by debutante Kiranraj and produced by Rakshit Shetty and and GS Guptha under the Paramvah Studios. The film stars Rakshit Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B Shetty, Danish Sait and others play prominent roles in the film. Popular Kollywood actor Bobby Simha is seen in a guest role in the film.
